The end of 2022 was flavoured by Chiron turning direct on 23rd Dec, now is the time to seek outside help for your inner wounds.

By Mercury stationing retrograde in Capricorn on the 29th Dec initiating 3weeks review, reflection and renewal in the area of your life governed by Capricorn. 

And finally, on the 31st a Pluto and Venus conjunction which asks you to seriously consider what makes you happy. How close do you come to this feeling on a daily basis? How big is the gap between where you are now and where you currently want to be?

And I don’t mean I am in cold grey England and I want to be in lying under a blue sky with a warm breeze on my skin. 

What needs a complete overhaul in your life so you can bridge that gap? What needs to metamorphosis into something else entirely so you can your life that way you want to? 

When Mercury and Mars station direct in the beginning of January you can start to take action and plan for your heart and soul aligned future.

January 2nd Venus enters Aquarius 
Venus is the planet of relating, it is the energy we use to discover what we do and don’t like, it is the energy of love and connection, of giving and receiving. Venus has dived into her dressing up box and has emerged wearing her Costume of the Collective. 

Imagine her cloak bedecked with pictures of all her friends and acquaintances, the people she hangs out with, the faces of the whole of humanity. As Venus dances through Aquarius, she beams down a light of open-hearted inclusivity. 

Open your heart to the energy of possibility, to make new friends and strengthen existing collaborations. 

January 6th Full Moon in Cancer 
This Full Moon at 16 degrees will trigger Chiron in Aries and an activation of your identity wound. (we all have one)

At the core of  your being, you are your Sun and Moon, masculine and feminine energy.   This energetic frequency is a combination of all your past lives, from this lifetime, your life experiences growing up, the imprinting from your parents and past generations and from your connection with the collective consciousness of all humanity. 

At the time of a Full Moon the Sun and Moon are opposite each other, in this case, in Cancer and Capricorn, the parental axis, highlighting the part of your identity you have inherited from your parents. 

If you feel triggered over this transit in the realms of love, care, nurturing, guidance and leadership acknowledge the younger version of you that felt hurt or let down and remember that your identity wounds don’t define you, they are part of your experience, but they are NOT you. The Full Moon will bring things to the surface so you can take the next steps to healing and claiming your true identity and energy signature. 

Uranus the Light-bringer will be on hand over this transit to offer you a different perspective on whatever may surface, be open to receiving his lightning-bolt aha, it can be truly life-changing to see things differently. 

January 7th Mercury conjuncts the Sun in Capricorn 
This is a Mercury Starpoint, the beginning of the next Mercury cycle, the perfect time to start a project that needs 3-4 months to complete. 

Capricorn is a cardinal sign so there is added oomph in the initiating energy of this particular transit. Capricorn is the CEO or leadership energy of the Zodiac, the father archetype, the mentor and the guide. It is also ruled by Saturn the planet of Success and Self-Mastery. 

This is not the time to announce the project, but it is the perfect time to get your ideas out of your head and onto paper, so you can look at them from a different viewpoint and make the necessary alterations whilst Mercury is still travelling retrograde and in his reflective stage. 

January 12th Mars transits direct 8 degrees Gemini
Mars has had his brakes on in the area of your chart ruled by Gemini, as he accelerates out of the starting blocks imagine a big elastic band that has been limiting your forward motion, releasing and propelling you forward. 

Mars retrograde has served his purpose, he has asked you to reflect on your actions in this part of your life and to consider how you can do things differently. January 18th Mercury transitions direct 8 degrees Capricorn
8 really is the magic number! Mercury joins Mars in forward motion (same degree different sign), the time of reflection and confusion in the realms of thought and communication come to an end, making space for clarity and focus in the area of life ruled by Capricorn. 

This is the perfect time to take the ideas you have about your Mercury project and make them public, declare your intention and begin to bring the concept into concrete reality. 

January 18th Sun Conjunct Pluto 27 degrees Capricorn
Pluto is the Great Transformer, his role is to take you into the depths, to make things feel uncomfortable, to take you into the darkness and then out the other side. Pluto asks the questions everyone else is afraid to ask. 

Pluto is about true empowerment, the energy that comes from your deepest darkest under-belly, it is a visceral, primeval power that is the source of you fulfilling your true potential. 

When Pluto and the Sun join forces these two powerhouses are demanding you answer the age-old question “Who are you really?” 

The answer is NOT the fluffy “I am little Bobby’s mum who went to school in Manchester and moved to the South Coast when I met my husband at work”

Pluto asks you to face the bare-naked truth about yourself, to acknowledged the parts of you that you may feel ashamed of.

The part of you that joined in bullying Sarah at school because at least then they wouldn’t bully you. 20th January the Sun enters Aquarius 
Happy birthday Aquarians! The Sun will spend the next month dancing through Aquarius the sign of connection, community, friendship and humanity. It is also the sign of the rebel and the cause of the collective. How can you create deeper and more long-lasting connections with your wider community? This is the sign of the “ripple effect” how can you share your energy with others to create even more change, transformation and enlightenment for all?  

21st January New Moon in Aquarius at 1 degree

23rd January Uranus turns direct at 14 degrees Taurus 
Uranus has been moving in a retrograde motion for the last 5 months, the planet of out of the blue aha’s and lighting bolt change is finally moving forwards. 

This is creating a tremendous forward momentum because although Uranus is in Taurus, he rules Aquarius and we now have a stelium of 4 planets in Aquarius. The Sun and Moon, Venus and Saturn.

Uranus is acting as the jet propulsion, the spark that ignites the rocket fuel under the area of your chart that is Aquarius covers.

January 26th Venus enters Pisces
Venus LOVES being in Pisces, imagine the Goddess of Love going to her wardrobe and selecting her floatiest most ethereal gown, made of willow the wisp and star dust.
